Dear Customers,
On October 21, 2026, critical security vulnerabilities affecting certain PHP versions were
disclosed internationally. These vulnerabilities may affect numerous web servers and PHP-based
applications.
The official security advisory is available at the following link:

Measures Taken by ATW
Following the disclosure of these vulnerabilities and the release of the necessary security
patches, ATW Internet Kft. immediately began updating the affected systems.
Our technical team has successfully applied the necessary security updates to the following
hosting environments:
- Dedicated web hosting servers
- cPanel-based hosting servers
- DirectAdmin-based hosting servers
- CloudLinux-based hosting environments
The updates were carried out during the evening of October 21 and the morning of October 22, 2026,
as the required security patches became available for the various systems.
Some software vendors also released security patches for older PHP versions. These patches have
also been applied to the affected systems operated by ATW.
Our traditional shared hosting environments were not affected by these vulnerabilities due to
their underlying architecture.
What Actions Are Required from Our Customers?
For hosting environments managed by ATW, all necessary server-side security updates have been
completed. Therefore, no additional action is required from our customers regarding these
updates.
Nevertheless, we strongly recommend keeping all content management systems (CMS), plugins, and
other website applications up to date. We also encourage customers using outdated or unsupported
PHP versions to migrate to a modern, officially supported version.
At ATW Internet Kft., the security of our customers' services is one of our highest priorities. We
continuously monitor security threats and official vendor advisories and take additional measures
whenever necessary.
Thank you for your continued trust in our services!
ATW Internet Kft.
